Todd is the owner and founder of Insulation Experts, and has 30 years of construction experience. He is also a full-time Oklahoma City Firefighter. Todd has a distinct advantage over the general insulation industry because he is a certified H.E.R.S. Rater and has qualifications in Fire Science, Chemistry of Hazardous Materials, and Building Science. He has a reputation as the "Unique Insulator" and the "Guru of Building Science"; he loves the challenge when someone says, "It can't be done!", and he works diligently to find a way to insulate it and insulate it the right away. Money isn't what drives Todd, it is his passion to help people. He values his clients and treats each home as if it were his own. Todd will not compromise your health or comfort in any way, shape, or form. He has, and will, pass on jobs that would compromise quality and integrity.

Insulation Experts History
Insulation Experts (the Company) was formed in 1998 to provide cellulose insulation to the greater Oklahoma City area housing industry. After 21 years of construction experience, the owner and founder of the company, Todd L. Cox, became interested in cellulose while preparing to build his personal home. His research showed that Fiberglass was a vastly underperforming product when compared to cellulose, even though Fiberglass dominated the housing industry. In addition to the performance issue, he discovered that Fiberglass posed health risks and fire hazards not associated with cellulose, which also has mold, mildew, and insect repellent properties. These characteristics had special meaning and importance to Todd, who was, and continues to be an Oklahoma City firefighter with highly specialized hazardous materials training. The energy cost savings he experienced with his own home, combined with the fact that cellulose as an insulation option was virtually unknown to the general public, presented a unique business opportunity that Todd chose to pursue. Today, after 9 consecutive years of sales growth, the company not only targets new housing construction, but also existing housing retrofit and commercial construction for application of its cellulose insulation products. In 2002, the company expanded its product offerings to include foam, K13 insulation, Marathon water heaters, and Superior Air Ducts.
In late 2003, Mr. Cox continued his technical training by obtaining his Home Energy Rater System (H.E.R.S.) certification from the Kansas Building Science Institute. This dramatically expanded his technical knowledge and understanding of home energy efficiency, especially as it related to the "House as a System" concept, promoted by the Energy Star Program. This established him as a leader, without a peer among the insulation providers/installers in the Oklahoma City market. As a result, Insulation Experts continues to lead the field in producing home energy efficiency. Insulation Experts also holds the Oklahoma state record for achieving the highest Home Energy Performance Rating as measured by Guaranteed Watt Savers Systems Inc. of Oklahoma.
